The College of Education at Al-Farabi University College was established for the 2025–2026 academic year, comprising five departments: English Language, Arabic Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology. The Department of English Language — the college's founding cornerstone since 2023–2024 — now offers both morning and evening study.
The college aspires to expand evening programmes across all departments, supporting the university's academic growth and addressing the shortage of qualified educators within Iraq's Ministry of Education.
